It's fun to see what quilting (even a minimal amount like I did) and binding adds to a quilt!
Curvy lines through the seams on the diagonals and in between created some fun rectangle sorts of shapes.
I backed this little quilt in my favorite black and white cat print and used a black with white dots fat quarter for the binding.
I machine stitched the binding this time since I'm donating it for a child. It's not my best skill, but I think it turned out okay! A run through the washer and dryer and I think this will be ready to send off to the Little Lambs Foundation as a part of Hands 2 Help over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. It measures about 33 x 40 before washing.
Happy Sunday from the little penguins! Hope you're enjoying some stitching today!

Lovely little quilt, and thank you for joining in!!
I love that pattern.
That's so sweet that you're willing to part with something made with the penquin fabric. Some child will really love this.
Your quilt is adorable and the backing fabric... too cute!
Those penguins are just too cute and every child will love them.
So cute! That made a nice-sized quilt. I really like the print penguins row in the middle. :)
Do you remember the name of the cat print?
I love it, so unique!
That will be well loved!
What a pretty little quilt and I love the wavy line quilting! Christine x
It is a lovely finish. I do like seeing those penguins peeping out from the quilt.
