Some slow stitching for Sunday...

This week, I finished up the stitching on Pop Go the Fireworks, and then fully finished both of these little designs into pillows for my wooden bowl.

Aren't they cute?!

So here's how my little table by the front door is looking now.

I think my bowl now needs something in it that's a different size - taller - or maybe a rectangle shape?  I'll have to look for something like that to stitch up.

Meanwhile, I decided to go back to some embroidery for my slow stitching and trace a new Kathy Schmitz design to work on next.  This is "Needle Love," the April 2023 design from the One Stitch at a Time Club.  Kathy shows it stitched all in red floss or in multiple colors, but I decided to do it in a cool variegated blue.  This is DMC 4230 - Crystal Water.

Maybe this stitching will keep me cool on these hot summer days!

That's my Slow Sunday Stitching - what are you working on?

Sharing at Kathy's Quilts!

Pretty, pretty cross stitching! Your bowl fillers are such a neat idea. I bet you're glad to get back to your embroidery though. That is a pretty variegated blue.

So enjoy seeing your Bird house again and those colourful zipper blocks.
And now this very pretty embroidery and I think that choice of colour is inspired!

Love the wood bowl full of fun pillows. Maybe a taller bird feeder? Enjoy your day of stitching.

I am think that I have to take my mother's wooden bowl and her front hall table and make a vignette similar to yours in the near future. I love the little pillows that you stitched. Your latest embroidery is pretty with the blue variegated floss.

Your dough bowl pillows are cute as can be. Melisa has some of her patriotic ones that are more rectangular. It's all in the finish if that's what you were looking for. Check out Liberty or Freedom on her site then you can adapt to your next small stitch.

I, too, like the variegated blue on the Kathy Schmitz design. Have a good week.
I may get to stitch on One Kind Word this evening. I didn't write a post today. Too busy and I took a nap!
