Piggybacking on yesterday's post, I decided to stitch some more bowtie blocks. Angela suggested getting out the greens if we had enough blue blocks, so that's just what I did! These are all hand-pieced, so I work on them during my evening slow stitching time.
Earlier in the week I made four new blue blocks for a total of 12,
and then decided to make four more green blocks, too.
These are such cute little blocks!
I have two of the four new green ones sewn,
and a couple more ready to go
for Slow Sunday Stitching today.
Also this week, I've put a few stitches into this one - a shovel, some clay pots, and working on a little tree to plant!

Those bow ties are wonderful! Love the colors, the blue works great with the greens! I just adore your embroidery, nice job on the coloring too! Have a great day!
Nice bowties - looks like you had fun with them. The embossed pattern on your embroidery fabric makes your wagon almost look like gingham - so cute. I like the way you tinted your fabric - crayon?
Green and blue make a great combo, your bow ties look gorgeous together. Lovely new embroidery project, Diann. Have a great Sunday Stitching.
Your bowties are so small and so cute! They will be a great addition to your RSC2023 quilt.
Those bow tie blocks are very pretty. I didn't realize how small they were. Question: Do you color in your embroidery after you stitch it or before and what do you use to do so? I love the latest piece that you are working on.
These little bow tie blocks are a great showcase for all your different fabrics. Your embroidery looks lovely.
Nice progress on both your projects.
That is a great tree print on your bow ties. Your stitches are very pretty on your stitchery. Have a great Sunday.
You've got some fun blue and green scraps. Very cute stitching too. Enjoy your slow stitching today.

Bow ties are cute. The embroidery is coming along nicely.
Cute, working with such small pieces!!! Love how the prints shine in your little bowties, Diann! And you are ahead of the game, working on blues and greens! I've done my blues, but with greens getting thrown in there I'm back to the drawing board/quilt studio!
I like your coloring in the Kathy Schmitz stitch! Know I’ve probably asked this before, but do you use crayon or colored pencil? Or something else?
Band your green bow ties are so pretty’
Your bow ties are adorable. Love that Kathy Schmitz piece. I have a big embroidery project I need to complete in the next two weeks, so I set Kathy Schmitz embroidery for awhile, but I did trace out a bunch of designs. Happy stitching Diann, and hope you have a great week!
Good addition to the bowties! I didn't realize how tiny these are! WOW. . .what is the size of the square? Two inches?? Love your embroidery. . .my squirrel would like me work on one. . . I'm resisting; but, Kathy's designs are so wonderful and seeing yours. . . .well, I'm drooling; but, holding out for now!
Those bow tie blocks are cute. Love those sweet little trees. Your wheelbarrow filled with all things gardening is coming along beautifully. Have a lovely day while you add some more stitches to this pretty piece, Diann.
