Seeing Red

 in little bits anyway!

Tiny red petunias in the bright morning sun -
they have lots of growing to do!

It seems that the less time I have to sew, the more I just want to play with a little something and can't stay focused on any one project!  And with only 15 or 20 minutes to sew most days, that's how this week went.

Arrow blocks - 3/4 of the way there.

Three exclamation mark blocks for Full Stop.

And finally I pulled out some red crumb blocks and made crumb hearts with bonus HSTs to go along with them.  These are fun and happy!

The Rainbow Strings are making a lovely ironing board cover at the moment, so no further progress on the basting step.  But there's still time!  😁

Also at Life in Pieces where we track our stitching time each week.

Such wonderful scrappy goodness. I too have been looking about my sewing room and wondering what fun thing I could slip into the mix! Those hearts are tempting:0

Those Crumb Hearts look awesome with the Bonus HSTs as a border!! Is that the plan? If so, I like it!!

Lots of red to see this morning! I do believe you are making this 15 minutes a day working! I was putting the borders on my FYOP yesterday and thought I heard a noise outside me window! When I looked up, the top shelf in one of my shelf units had dumped all the scrap baskets on the floor! Oops!

Fun to see all the red, both outdoors and in your sewing space! The little scrap projects are all so fun. Glad you are sneaking in those 15 minutes, and making them fun and productive!

So many fun projects in the works. All your pretty quilts hanging on the wall remind me I really need to hang some of mine up.

Ooh, those sweet tiny petunias! And of course your nice bright blocks. The bonus triangles make a great border for your heart blocks, too. Looks like you're making those 15 minutes a day really count!

Your crumb hearts are adorable! We got our flowers planted too, and like yours, they look dwarfed by the big pots. Here’s to lots of good growing weather!
