Slow stitching this week...

has been all about sewing these hand-pieced scrappy trips blocks together.

First in twos -

Then into fours -

It won't be long until the whole top is together, even with hand-piecing it!

Sharing at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.

it can be so satisfying hand stitching a quilt top together - I have one coming up that will be a lot of hand stitching but a combination of methods also

I love how the white diagonals make a lattice design! Looking wonderful! Will you be hand quilting this quilt?

I'm always amazed at fast hand-piecing actually is. True, slower than machine piecing but not as slow as some would think. Great job!
