it can be so satisfying hand stitching a quilt top together - I have one coming up that will be a lot of hand stitching but a combination of methods also

It may be slow but it is very sweet and satisfying. These scrappy trip blocks are absolutely gorgeous.
I'm always amazed at fast hand-piecing actually is. True, slower than machine piecing but not as slow as some would think. Great job!
