It has been a fun week for some Halloween stitching - both fast and slow! I finished the main part of my Autumn Jubilee quilt top. Check out Carole's version at the link.
At this point it is 36 inches square, a good size for my table.
I could add a final border, which the pattern calls for,
but I may stop right here!
Meanwhile I played with the scraps, and dropped everything else to make this little hand-pieced mug rug!
I spent a couple very pleasant evenings, piecing these little squares together, adding some hand quilting stitches through all of them, and finishing it up with the binding.
And then there's the Pumpkin Patch!
Just a little of this left to stitch! That will be my Sunday Slow Stitching today.

Pretty halloween mug rug, Diann.
And I love the happy Pumpkin Patch embroidery.
Where did you find this pattern?
Happy Halloween and Happy Stitching!
I don't think of Halloween as a real festival but it is excuse enough to decorate in fun colors and party :-) Your cute projects make me smile.
Your version of Autumn Jubilee turned out beautifully! The mug rug is fun too. You've gots lots of things going on in the sewing room. Love your plan for the RSC hearts blocks. I tend to stall when I have to decide how to set those blocks together. Good luck with your finishing plans. Happy stitching today and Happy Halloween!
Love your Autumn Jubilee! I am going to add my scrappy border today, such a fun project. What a pretty little pumpkin patch embroidery! Hope you are having a great Sunday Diann.
I love your pumpkin patch stitching!
I can relate to the enjoyment of making a mini from the scraps and finishing it up well before the actual project is done! Enjoy your stitching today!
Love that Pumpkin Patch - so cute!!
I love your Autumn Jubilee top!
Love the little mug rug! Fun projects being worked on in your house. Enjoy your Sunday.
What fun you've been having with those fun fabrics (and some stitching, too!!)
I really like your version of the Jubilee topper! It's quite autumnal.
Love your version of the Jubilee topper! I need to get back to my Kathy Schmitz embroideries too! Great work, and happy stitching!
Cute mug rug and lovely fall quilt! Perfect embroidery project for this time of year!
Great selection of spooky Halloween fabric! Nice pattern on your table topper and your hand pieced mug rug is great fun too.
Your little embroidery is adorable! I love it! Smiled to myself as I recognized your mug rug binding. I've used a bit of that fabric myself. Don't we have good taste?? Ha!
You are definitely ready for the trick or treaters! Such fun quilts!
Happy Halloween Diann! Thanks for sharing all your lovely projects with Oh Scrap!
I like the little quilt you are making for your table. Those fabrics are fabulous. Pumpkin patch is fantastic. Such a fun Halloween piece.
Cute embroidery! You make me feel like I should decorate or something!
You have been busy with your Halloween stitching. I particularly love the pumpkin patch stitchery.
All very cute! Hugs,
Your pumpkin man is so darn cute. Looking forward to seeing him finished.
Ohhh, so cute! I love the non-trad colors of purple and navy thrown in there, too!
What great choices of the purple and navy fabric. Your pumpkin is so sweet
All your Halloween projects are coming together nicely!
Oooh!! I love our topper ... it's so fun!! Haha ... I love how you put your mug rug play time: "...dropped everything else..." That's awesome! Your pumpkin patch pattern is *darling*! Who's is it? It looks right up my pumpkin lovin alley! :)
Fun projects! That pattern and the fabrics work so well with the little pumpkins. I like the size of your mug rug, and you have the just-right cup and saucer to go with it. What do you plan to make with the cute embroidery?
You have the best DrEAMi projects! I saw your 36" Halloween table topper on Instagram, and loved it. Too funny that the scraps grabbed your fancy and made you have a DrEAMi moment. Wow, to think it is entirely hand-stitched, just beautiful.
