Do you read the comics in the newspaper? I have several that I enjoy every day, and one is "Pearls Before Swine." This one made me laugh because I, too, actually like the buttered popcorn Jelly Bellies!
I got out a few Halloween decorations out this week for the entry way chest. I don't decorate in a big way, but these are fun!
LeeAnna's question of the week is about carving pumpkins, which I love to do, and have loved all my life. I found an old picture of my siblings and I with my dad, all working hard on our pumpkins.
I don't carve one every year anymore, but I did do one in 2020.
Lol!
Nowadays, I'm more likely to stitch a pumpkin, which is what I was doing last night. This is Melisa's Pumpkin Basket. A teeny tiny pumpkin!
Hope you're having a great week!

Haha I like buttered popcorn Jelly Bellies too. Your chest is such a great spot for your decorations! That masked pumpkin is hilarious. Love that photo of you with your family.
Thanks for the chuckle this morning with the masked pumpkin!
love your 2020 pumpkin :)
This post had me laughing all the way through...from the cartoon to your 2020 pumpkin. So fun!
Nope! But we can still be friends!
Well, I was laughing before I read the comic bc -- yuck! -- I do not care for those buttered popcorn jelly bellies. I really like the mocha, the cinnamon, and pretty much all the other flavors. Of course, we can still be friends too! Your entry way table looks really good, lots of stitching projects on display.
That is a tiny pumpkin that you are stitching! Melisa's designs are so cool. Love your entry way table decor!
I don't have much for Halloween either, having sold or given away most of it. I have one little black cat, a small ceramic jack-o-lantern and a tiny music box that plays Ding Dong the Witch is Dead.
I can skip the flavored jelly beans, though buttered popcorn is pretty good. Love your pumpkin with the mask. I think My Guy did one pretty much like that one the same year.
For many years Jelly Belly had a warehouse just over the state line in Pleasant Prairie. The outlet store had great buys -- a 2-lb bag of "belly flops" (seconds) for $5. It was always a shock to bite into a buttered popcorn (or coffee bean-flavor) in a handful of more conventional flavors.
