Here in Loveland, Colorado, everyone makes a big deal out of Valentine's Day. There are hearts all over town, a Miss Loveland Valentine, and we have our very own Valentine greeting cards to send out each year, too. Each year there's a contest for whose design will be on the front, and whose greeting will go inside.
When I saw Melisa's little stamp design - Love Note - I knew it was one I had to stitch! Not too much left now - a rose and an X and O.
Meanwhile, also still quilting the Rainbow Bowties, but it's very close to being finished!
I've made the binding for this quilt, and hope to be stitching it down soon.
Maybe during the Super Bowl tonight?

Good morning, dear Diann. I am finally back home from our camping trip. I wasn't able to comment on your posts, but I have been falling along on what you have been up to these last few weeks. Oh my how I do love your SAHRR project and those adorable Bow Ties -Cute as can be. Thank you so much for adding the little Love Note to your stitching list. I hope you enjoy. It is so nice to be back to chat with you. Have a fabulous day. Hugs.
Ahh, I bet Valentines Day in Loveland is a busy one. We had our special Valentine's dinner on Friday as you can't get a table around her on the actual holiday. Your envelope cross stitch is really cute. And yeah for being almost done with the bow ties. Hopefully the clean up and de-threading went quickly. Enjoy the Super Bowl, we don't usually watch, we are just not football people.
Wow, lovely to live in Loveland! Love your cross stitching! That bow tie quilt looks amazing!
Sounds like your town lives up to its name this time of year! Your little love note cross stitch project is so cute! The bow tie quilt looks amazing! Gail at the cozy quilter.
This year, with Mardi Gras on the 13th, Valentines is getting shoved aside in my house. I am a bit tired of the Hallmark holidays anyway. But I would like some chocolate!
I have in the past, sent all my Valentine enclosed envelopes to the Loveland Post Office for their special post mark! I didn’t get that done this year! I didn’t even check to see if they still do that! Love your new stitching. So cute! You are making great progress on your BowTies! It’s wonderful!
Those Loveland postcards are wonderful. Great progress on your bow ties! Happy stitching!

Diann - Happy Valentine's Day! I was in Loveland for a wedding in late September last year! A beautiful area! Thanks for your recent visit to my blog and your kind birthday wishes!
Your beginnings of Love Note is looking good. Melisa is the sweetest with her designs. Beautiful quilt. Did you get the binding done during the SB game? Hope you are having a Happy Valentine's Day, Diann.
Hand quilting: you are amazing. I learned how decades ago and actually enjoyed it. But I would rather finish a quilt by machine or by checkbook. Love the bright colors of all the bowties. I can't imagine living in a place named for a holiday? What fun creations people must come up with all over town. Happy Valentine's Day!
