Green here, Green there...

Bits of green everywhere!  Even peeking out from under the snow.

Down in my sewing room, I pulled out the Easy Breezy blocks, and decided more green was needed, so I sewed up a couple of those, plus a wonky star in dark greens.

There were penguins in Santa hats in my green scrap bin,
so they had to go in this block, right?!

25 Easy Breezies up on the design wall.  I think I'll make enough to have an 8 x 9 block layout.  Or maybe 8 x 10?  There's no rush on this quilt - I'm just making a block for it here and there.

The wonky stars may or may not end up as alternate blocks in between the chain blocks, but they're just fun to make!

During my evening hand stitching time this week, I finished up the second scrappy trips block in green.

And I'm all caught up with this week's partial square in a square blocks for the Harmony QAL.  Coming up we have blocks that require templates, so I'll be working on those this weekend.  These next sections will use more of that pretty dark green floral, so I'm looking forward to that.

Doesn't that bit of green in the snow make your heart happy! Those penguins are darling and certainly deserve a place in Easy Breezy. I'm sure I've asked you before but are you making the 4-1/2 inch or 6-1/2 inch block? The Harmony block is so pretty. Enjoy your weekend!

Always fun to see green peeking out from under the snow. Love the penguins in the Easy Breezy... I seem to have completely forgot about my blocks in that pattern! Harmony is looking great - I really need to prep step 3+4 so I can get caught up. Happy stitching today.

The stars will be happy blocks wherever they end up. So many pretty greens this week. Spring is near!

Whether or not the Wonky Stars end up alternating with Easy Breezies or not you have the fixin's for some colorful quilts. I'm with you...just enjoy the process and figure out the end result later.

Fun green blocks. I really like those Easy Breezy blocks. I made a couple just to try them out when I saw them. Wonder what I did with them? LOL

I haven't noticed any little bits of green popping up outside yet, but with the warmer temps we're having this weekend maybe we'll see some new growth next week. My husband did say there was a maple on the back of our property that had buds showing.

So darling the Eazy Breezy with penguins, Diann. Your collection is looking great together. Great idea to use those beautiful wonky stars as alternate blocks.
The 2 green trip blocks are perfect, and look, there are penguins there, too!!!

Green peeking from the snow is always full of promise! Love the penguins in Santa hats, and of course, I'm liking seeing your wonky stars become a full galaxy :-)

I’m so in love with your scrappy trip blocks!! Just beautiful! And I think those wonky stars would look great as alternate blocks for the EB’s. The idea reminds me of two types of kids - those who stand quietly in line and those who wiggle and sparkle and can’t stand still. Gotta love them all! (A strange analogy, I know).

Spring is coming, hurray! All your blocks are wonderful. And of course the adorable penguin fabric had to come along!

Hints of green are always welcome after winter aren't they. I know our live oaks here froze and so its been unusually brown here but I see their buds are forming this week also. You got so much done and your pretty fabrics are perfect for spring!

I'm very excited for Spring! Lately it's been all about the weeds though...a necessary evil! I always have a hard time picking a favorite block that you have made...they are all amazing!

New growth and so many beautiful projects. Spring is indoors with all the colours you are using with making them.

Once again you have stitched up so many pretty blocks. No more snow here thankfully. There are a few signs of spring popping up through the ground though.

The penguins in the green blocks are so cute and look to be fussy cut. That takes a little thinking.
The last block you posted on this post - wowee. I love it!
