Some hand quilting stitches were put into the hexie flower quilt. I think I only have a couple blocks left to finish and then the sashing and borders.
I also got started on "Autumn Brew" this week, and it's going to be fun! There are a lot of browns (stems and acorns) and a bit of orange/dark green variegated (leaves), so I've done a little coloring in places to bring out the different shades and shapes.
Yesterday Kathy Schmitz sent out the October One Stitch at a Time design, and it's adorable! I know I'm going to want to make it, so I'd better get busy today and stitch up all those leaves in the tea cup!

WOW "Autumn Brew" is a pretty pattern and your embroidery looks so beautiful. Are you coloring it with crayons?

Two things: I love how you are using your hexies and I love those simple little embroidery patterns. I have several hexie flowers wanting a purpose, so your example gives me a really good idea for mine. I have several simple embroidery projects waiting for some of my attention - perhaps this week???

Missed checking in on slow stitching on Sunday. Busy at our Quilt Show. Love that tea cup and good job with the coloring. It really does add to the look of an embroidery design.
