It has been delightful to get out the aqua/turquoise/teal scraps to play with this week for August in the Rainbow Scrap Scrap Challenge! I started the month with some question marks and chandelier blocks. You can tell I had a few bigger chunks that worked for multiple blocks!
Of course, I had to look at all the chandelier blocks together on the design wall.
The Little Sisters fit right in, don't they?
Read more about them here.
My evening hand stitching has been this hand-pieced Scrappy Trips block in aqua. I'll continue working on this over the weekend, as well as prepping squares for the second one of these for the month, maybe with a few darker turquoise fabrics.
I love those cats on turquoise!

Lookin' good!
Such a pretty month for sewing;)
the wall is looking good. I think I need to start looking for more aqua I found I had a couple pieces of yardage but I didn't want to cut into them would rather use the scraps for these. Love your sister's block
Aqua is definitely a beautiful color, and you have quite a lot of it! Love your design wall with all these pretty blocks!
Is the solid aqua in your blocks more of the Kona Aruba you used as the binding on the mini-sisters? It's a vibrant color.

Great beginning for aqua month, Diann.

And those cats are really cool.
Happy stitching!!
Great job on the start of aqua month! I'm looking forward to trying those question mark blocks!
How can you not have fun playing with that happy color! Yes, Little Sisters fits right in on your design wall!
You jumped right in on the aqua! Very cool blocks! Every time I see your Scrappy Trips blocks, I vow to try my hand at hand piecing! Maybe I’ll hunt up a couple of tutorials or YouTube videos and put my Big Girl panties on and give it a try! LOL
your aquas are so fresh and pretty!!!!
Great blocks! I love the cat fabric.
I love your question marks! They make for such a good picture, especially in aqua.
Your ? are great! Love the chandelier blocks and little sisters is the perfect fit with her aqua border. Happy stitching.
I love those chandelier blocks. They look so striking set on point & would be easy L&E's. Hmmmmm........
You got a good start on your teal scrappy projects for August. The chandelier blocks are such fun.
You can't go wrong with aqua, and your blocks look great. Love those cats!
Those hues of blue are so very restful. Your design wall, too, is joyous to look at. Yes indeed The Little Sisters fit right in. Aren't they lovely? Chandelier blocks, cute cats on aqua......everything is very pleasing indeed, to my eyes.
Aqua is such a pretty colour. It’s fun to add interesting fabrics into our scrappy projects...makes people look a little closer and smile!
Such beautiful blocks on your design wall. As I was scrolling down, I spied & LOVED those kitties. Then I saw your comment on them too. Hahaha!
Love your aqua blocks!
You have a lot of pretty aqua fabrics. Love all of those blocks!
so pretty and very calming aqua blocks. will be a great addition to your growing collection.
Oh, yes, those little sisters do fit in. They make their own little chandeliers, and I love how you quilted them. I’m interested in your hand piecing. I’m dithering over making a take-along kit. I had been thinking hexies, but squares look like fun, too, and much easier to prep. Hmmm...
I love the aqua. My favorite color! Have a great week!
So pretty!
Your blocks are so pretty! I'm adding a chandelier quilt to my 2022 list as yours is so lovely! Thank you for sharing!
