More with Turquoise and Teal

When we got home from our recent trip, this pile of scraps was still on my cutting board -

So I started cutting...

3.5 inch squares, 2.5 inch squares, 2 inch squares, 1.5 x 2.5 inch rectangles, and pieces for making HSTs...

I couldn't decide what to focus on, so I made a few of each -

A couple more bowties - the top two are the new ones.

Some scrappy sprouts -

And almost enough of these Tiny Rails for a complete 10 inch block!

There are still a few more bowtie pieces and Tiny Rails sitting next to my sewing machine waiting to be sewn together.  Good thing June is only half over!

That was my week in Turquoise and Teal!  How was yours?  I'm looking forward to finding out at the weekly Rainbow Scrap Challenge link-up over at SoScrappy!

You did great on the teal this week. I still love those eye's popping out on the bow tie block.

What a fun sew! I started a quilt for my husband several weeks ago, got busy in the garden, then got distracted making a table runner (still in progress). So I'm not getting a lot done except weeding and watering! :D

Such cute blocks - you’ve always got something fun going. I’m considering those tiny rails for a leader/ender project, but then I’ve got those orange lozenges I could be adding corners to. And Bonnie Hunter will be announcing her yearly leader/ender project next month, so I’m holding off for now. Glad you had fun in TX. Although I have extended family there, I personally hate that state - just bad memories of driving through it with parents when I was a kid. It seemed to go.on.for.ever. Isn’t it weird how things like that color our perceptions? And yet, I’d visit the Houston Quilt Market in a heartbeat if I could, LOL!!

I like to cut bits for multiple projects, too. It's really satisfying to see so many of your projects jump forward, isn't it?
I've been admiring those little rail blocks of yours, and have tucked away the idea for later. Thanks!

Are those frogs in those bow ties? Cute! (If they aren't they sure look like it to me).

And your sprout collection is sure growing. How nice.

Since I was out of town for a few days I missed your recent trip-had to stop and go read. Sounds like a great time! And now we are on the downhill side of June, where does that time go-good grief I don't have much done this month! Your aqua's are looking so peaceful looking.
