I did have a chance to dig out a few teal and turquoise scraps -
so I could put together the Squared Away Sampler blocks for June.
I'm awfully glad this month's block went together so quickly... at least I accomplished something!
Here are all of my Sampler blocks up on the design wall together.
I'm really happy with them so far!
The smallest leftover bits and pieces get sewn into these Tiny Rail blocks -
I need 25 of these 2.5 inch squares to make a 10.5 inch block, so I'll keep working on them throughout the month.

As always, thanks for your comments! I read and appreciate every one!
With all the activity going on you have done well to get in some sewing.
Your blocks for the BOM are pretty beautiful, Diann. I am also happy this month there isn't any HST, I will make mine next week.
Have a great weekend
So happy you were able to squeeze in a little sewing time, I mean we all need our sewing therapy!
Every little bit helps! I'm glad you had a few happy moments in your studio :)

Summer is like that, isn't it? It's a good thing! I love the colors in your turquoise blocks :)
Your Squared Away quilt is looking awesome! I love all the modern fabrics.
The design wall is looking great!! : )
Those June blocks are sweet. Love these colors. I haven't had a chance to start on mine. Enjoy all your company and a getaway! mary
Your blocks are coming together so beautifully, Diann! And those little bitty rails are just calling my name! no need to reply... xo
Thank goodness for some speedy piecing and I hope you enjoy your travels!
Those blocks are a nice addition to your sampler, Diann. You really believe in the adage, Waste not, want not. Those bits would make a cute mini quilt.
Finding little bits of time to sew in the summer is difficult here too. Looks like you made good use of your bits of time!
They must have known and made this month's block easy for us! Your's came out great. Enjoy your travels.
Your Squared Away sampler is looking great! Hope things slow down so you can get in some stitching time once your visitors and trips are all over.
Oh my goodness, Diann. We are on the same wavelength this week.
Your blocks turned out great. I am thinking about making some zigzag blocks for an RSC quilt. I need a new project.
Thanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
Love how your sampler blocks look together on your wall.... so pretty! Christine x
Loving your sampler!
Sounds like you're having a busy summer. I love our family visits, but I'm always happy to get back into the sewing room - lol!
Lots of scrap-happiness here Diann! Darn when real life disrupts our sanity-saving sewing time right?!
