To-Do Tuesday #140

I'm joining in with Linda and friends at Texas Quilt Gal for the To-Do Tuesday link-up, sharing what I've been working on and my new list for this coming week.

Thanks to some unexpected extra time and a burst of energy, lol!, I finished up the quilting on PopStar on Saturday afternoon, and got the binding made and attached.  So I've been working on the final hand-stitching of the binding and should have a finish just in time for the Wednesday quilt parade!

I also finished up some blocks for my Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects, and you can see my progress here in my Saturday post.

Since keeping up on my monthly blocks for the RSC is always on my mind, that's what's going on this week's list.  And you can see what I'm working on here in this photo:

There are actually three different things going on here, but all in blues.
Clockwise starting in the top left:
*A sawtooth star that will go into a seasonal mugrug for my mom.
*A blue gingham tabletopper, which makes a good leader/ender project.
*And lots and lots of HSTs to go in the Bloom baskets.

So that's what I'll be working on this week!

I really like those basket blocks and placing them on the green lets the colors show up some I don't know if that was your intention or an accident

Good going on the Pop Star progress! Your projects all look fun, is that green grunge underneath them?
Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!

I like seeing your penguins walking all over that gingham runner! I sold my blue one this weekend, so I will have to check and see if I have some more that will work to make another. The baskets are so colorful, they will make a great quilt.

Blue looks good on your design table. What snagged my attention was the Bloom baskets. Which I immediately thought about as 9” blocks so I could use my Go cutter. I’ve been trying to be good and not start anything. But those darn baskets are calling to me. Maybe I can hold off but they are so nice. Have a great week.

More gingham, just as you predicted! Aren't those four-patch baskets terrific? So easy to make.

Very nice RSC Blue blocks to work on. Variety is the spice of life and you've got that covered!

How fun! Hand binding is the best! I’m sure your mom will love her mug rug! Your leader and her project is beautiful! All those flower baskets are lovely as well! Happy sewing!

All those projects will beat the goal.
Great blue blocks and leader & enders. Well... now I'm also tempted to make a gingham tabletopper.

Hi Diann! I've seen your name banished about for sharing a squirrel project. Perhaps a certain gingham runner was mentioned and bit a reader quite hard. I am trying to ignore said squirrel, but I can see how nicely it is coming together. Leader/ender is a bonus! I love the sawtooth star, and I have never made any basket blocks. Good luck with your list this week! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

i really enjoyed seeing your basket block in a construction stage. They are so cool! I've been wanting to do gingham something too, but it will have to wait. My life is in a bit of turmoil at present. Hopefully it will calm down in the next couple of weeks. Then maybe I'll give it a go.

I love seeing all your projects, but I'm highly distracted by that lovely green background for your blocks! Haha! Yay for the PopStar finish!
