I'm joining in with Linda and friends at Texas Quilt Gal for the To-Do Tuesday link-up, sharing what I've been working on and my new list for this coming week.
I stayed pretty focused on my "must-dos:" PopStar layers are basted together and quilting is half finished.
I've also been working on Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks for June in bright and dark blues, mostly cutting pieces for blocks like Masala Box.
But I did make room for a squirrel project, and have to admit I jumped in with both feet! I've been wanting to try a gingham tablerunner, inspired by Vicki's beauties in this post. I shared my fabric pull in last week's To-Do Tuesday post, and it didn't take long to have my version put together.
Quilting is coming along on this one, too, and it should be finished soon.
Binding will be the red checked fabric - I have lots of it!
So, on this week's list, more of the same:
- Finish PopStar! The quilt parade starts on June 15th.
- Sew up those Masala Box blocks.
- Finish the red gingham tablerunner, and make room for a new squirrel! 😊
Oh the gingham is perfect!!! Aren't you just tickled you let the squirrel in to play;)
Love the gingham table runner! I've always wanted to try that. Your PopStar quilting looks so neat. And another squirrel on the way? :D
Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
the mention of table runners reminds me I haven't changed mine in awhile - I have so many small quilts tucked away in a cupboard it is time to change mine out!
Looking forward to seeing a Pop Star finish! Table runners...I should be joining you in making some of those! Love the red!
Your gingham table runner (?) looks great. You really nailed the look. Hope you successfully complete your to do list this week.
Oh your gingham table runner is so pretty in those colors! What fun! Looking forward to seeing PopStar all quilted!
The gingham runner is very pretty! The masala box blocks are looking good. I plan to work on mine again later today... the baby is 1 month old already!
So much lovely going on there!! Now you have me thinking I need to do a table runner like that. Love it!
looks like a great list of projects and very do-able!
Pop Star and your blue rainbow scraps are all so pretty, and your red gingham table runner puts me in the mood for a picnic!
I can see why you went off on a tangent! I want to try that gingham thing, too.
