72 Trees for the Rainbow Jungle

And here they all are!

You might remember that I originally found this fabric and used it as my inspiration for this quilt idea.

I ended up making 6 of the trees with the inspiration fabric - they'll be sprinkled around the quilt.

And the yellow trees I made this week to finish them all up:

Bright yellow, pale yellow, and cheddary yellow!

I'm going to start sewing these trees into four patch groupings that will make 12.5 inch blocks.  The quilt top should end up about 48 x 54.

What cute fabrics, especially the inspiration fabric. I spy some penguins and little girls parachuting. I bet it was fun cutting and putting these together. I thought it was a completed flimsy and was admiring the layout! Can't wait to see the final quilt.

The jungle fabric really ties everything together, especially with the yellow to give it all a bit of sunshine. This is going to be such a fun quilt.

What a fun quilt. This was a perfect block to do for RSC. A few blocks every month so you didn't get tired of them and now at year's end, a completed quilt top. And I know you'll finish it up promptly. Maybe since I'm not traveling this winter, I'll actually finish one or two of my previous ones.

I so admire how you continue making trees over a longer period of time! I usually start a long term project and get so excited I can't stop and have to finish it. Your trees are amazing and it's fun seeing them all together!
