I've continued to work on my Humble Quilts QAL project each evening this week. I got the border pieces sewn on, and the layers together for quilting. I had enough of the blue with variegated brown dots for the border, and I like it, so went with that, a little different from what Lori shows on her quilt.
So, for the last several evenings, I've been stitching along, with my sort of primitive, definitely self-taught, quilting! Enjoying every stitch!
A bit more quilting in the little four patches, and then some binding,
and this one will be finished!
Hope you've been enjoying your stitching this week!

Thanks for a fun project, Lori!
I'm really glad you did a close-up of your patches--I love the fabric you used! Your quilting is great! Enjoy your project!
I really like that blue that goes with the touch of blue in the blocks. Your "primitive" quilting is perfect.
Nice! Your quilting is perfect for the piece.
love the fabric in this and your stitching
Love the blue to set off the browns. A fun little project.
Oh I love the blue border that picks up the bit of blue in the body of the quilt!
What fun to see this little quilt taking shape. Better yet is how much enjoyment you are getting from it. That makes it all worthwhile!
Your 50 Shades of Brown is SEW sweet. Way to find a way to work in the Color of the Month for the RSC, Diann!!
So fun little quilt! The blue fabric together with the brown ones made it perfect.:-)
Love that blue border! Great work! Happy stitching!
I love how it turned out! Great job.
The blue fabric is just perfect for this quilt.
Enjoy your time this Sunday slow stitching your quilt.
Have a great week Diann!
It turned out so nice, and will be even better with hand quilting.
The blue border is the perfect complement to your four-patches! I love it! Your quilting is perfect for it, too! What a fun finish this will be! :)
Rainbow Jungle is so cute, Diann. This one is sweet too and I know how soothing it is to sit and hand sew your quilting lines, stress free stitching.
The teal really frames and highlights the browns in the center of the quilt. It's a very pretty little mini.
I love the blue border on this. Makes the whole thing sparkle!
Your quilting looks very good to me.
