This block is about 8 x 10 inches.
I've made a lot of these crumb blocks throughout the year, and had some fun playing with them on my design wall the other day.
You can see that my crumb blocks are all different sizes!
Sometimes I just need a leader or ender to put under the needle,
and then I throw it in the crumb box where it is forgotten!
I can kind of see a Scrap Vortex design happening here,
but with a colorwash effect going on.
I think I'll keep working on this!
We have so enjoyed our week in Oregon!
There are a couple more days ahead of us before we head home. Happy weekend, all!

I had forgotten about your crumbs blocks, you have a lot! That is going to make a pretty quilt.
I'm so glad you are enjoying your Oregon vacay! That photo is frame-worthy.
I love and miss the Oregon coast, sigh. Your crumb blocks are great. Keeping them all in one color family tones down the crazy :)
Oh, pretty picture of Oregon! And a pretty picture of your crumbs, too. I bet you could fit them together with light-colored crumbs as "sashing." That would be interesting!
What a lovely place to vacation! I hope your travels are fun and the journey is safe. I love your multi-sized crumb blocks. That is going to be a fantastic project, and I really look forward to seeing how it comes together.
I've been making crumb blocks as part of my monthly RSC work, but I've cut them into 4.5 and 6.5" blocks. No plan yet, but they are easier store that way and I never seem to run out of crumbs. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
That photo of the rocks in the Ocean is my happy place! Enjoy the vacation. I love how the crumb vortex is coming along. I think I might have some crumb sewing in my future tonight. It has been an exhausting week.
How fun to put those little scraps up on your wall to see what you have so far! Almost like opening a fun present, right?
Can you believe I came to retreat without my phone? No photos of all the fun happenings. Glad you remembered you camera; the photos have been great!
I love your idea of a color wash scrap vortex. It’s beautiful!
Your crumbs are really pretty, every shade used. Safe travels!
Love, love, LOVE the Crumb situation you've got going on the design wall!! I've got Crumb blocks to play with, but no design wall. Some day...
I'm so glad you showed all your crumb blocks together! They are so pretty and I know you'll come up with a design that is amazing! I've enjoyed seeing your Oregon coast pictures. Its so fun to relive some of those sights from when we lived in Oregon!
Your purple scrappy is so great - and with the others! Wow!!
LOVE your photos of Oregon - just so pretty!
You already have a rainbow going, so either way you do it will be fun. Thanks for the Oregon coast memories.
What a great idea for all those crumbs. I think it will be a fun quilt. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
