Little Penguin Quilts Through the Year

It's Autumn Jubilee Time!

For the last couple of Octobers, I've enjoyed participating in Autumn Jubilee, sponsored by Carole at From My Carolina Home.  Carole has a wonderful blog, full of sewing, decorating, cooking, books, and travel topics.  If you've never been there, you should definitely check out her blog!

I've enjoyed making several of the projects Carole has shared during Autumn Jubilee.  In 2016, I had fun using my wool scraps to make this cute little table topper.

This year, Carole is sharing a pattern for a wool pumpkin to stitch, HERE, and it's really calling to me!  I need to get out and find some orange wool pieces to use for it, since my wool scraps are pretty slim these days!

Also in 2016, I made this maple leaf and pumpkin wall-hanging which is still a favorite!

I enjoyed making the maple leaf blocks so much that I kept making them throughout 2017 in all the colors of the rainbow and ended up with a couple different maple leaf projects.  This one is on my table right now!

2017's Autumn Jubilee quilt along, called "Stars on Autumn Lane," resulted in this little finish, which I loved and gifted to a friend for a special birthday.

This week Carole introduced the quilt along for 2018, and it involves pumpkins, so I'm in!  Check out her post, HERE, for the first block.

Time to go dig through my scraps for some pumpkin blocks!  Hope you will join us!

I always watch Carole's projects/qal but, although tempted, I've never quite got around to starting any! It's nice to see which of her projects you've made. Yes the pumpkins are pretty tempting too....

I have a few too many QALs going, so I'll be watching from the sidelines. Sure fun to see the mini quilt show of projects you've made through Carole's Autumn Jubilee!

This sounds like fun but I don't know that I have the time to join in. I love all of your past projects :)

I love your past projects -- I'm following along this year -- making a pumpkin quilt has been on my "to do" list for quite awhile.
