And turned them into these -
And by the end of the week, I had this!
A rainbow of cheerful (Thanks, Libby!) and random scrappiness!
After taking a year or so to make these bowtie blocks a few at a time, it was fun to look at all of them as I stitched up the rows and did all the pressing. It really is an "I Spy" quilt! There are many favorite bits of fabric throughout this quilt top.
I spy the ABCs.
I spy Coffee-themed fabric!
I spy frogs sent to me by a quilty friend.
And of course, I spy some little penguins!
I'm going to enjoy finishing this one, although it will have to get in line behind a couple of other projects.
But still, I'm happy to be moving this quilt forward! Sharing at SoScrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday!

Oh that looks awesome all sewn together! You have had a good week:)
I love this quilt - how large is it going to grow?
So many fun fabrics to "I Spy" what a fun way to use some fabulous fabrics.
adorable quilt, Diann. I need to put the bow tie block on my list! So many possibilities.
I love your scrappy bowties! I need to add them to my list too!
One of my favorite patterns - your version is absolutely heavenly.
Very festive oranges! Congratulations on a finished top!
Hooray! It's great to see the bowties all stitched together :)
So cute! I just finished the last of my bow ties, too after almost 2 years. So, we’ll be finishing them off together. Your random scrappy setting is just the ticket!
That looks like so much fun. Another confirmation that I need to keep an "I Spy" quilt on my bucket list. How rewarding to see it finally come together after so long a time working on it. :)
Beautiful top! And congrats on putting them all together. They have been so fun to watch grow! That frog is still my favorite!
Congrats on your bow tie flimsy! Love it! Love the frog!
I really like that arrangement of bow ties and your scrappies are perfect
They look wonderful, bow ties are great blocks, so versatile and look so happy together.
Rainbow of cheerful is a perfect description - seeing all your RSC blocks together really made me smile! I know what you mean about the "I Spy" effect of our RSC quilts!
Beautiful rainbow of bowties!
You used some very fun fabrics. Hopefully it will not sit in the to be quilted pile for very long.
What a wonderful collection of scrappy blocks - it looks fantastic!
Love it! I am working on getting mine laid out now. Why did I go queen size :)
Way to go!
Very smart to do a few blocks at a time with your scraps. Perfect!
Love it! I've got all the blocks for one patiently waiting on the design wall - just need to get at it.
