A little slow stitching...

Last week at this time, my view was something like this:

Or this:

But now I'm back to this:

Lol, can you tell what we were watching?

I actually finished this little design Friday night.  It's going to be finished into a Christmas gift for a local friend, so I'm ahead on that task, which is a good feeling!

I traced another Kathy Schmitz design so that there would something new to stitch.  It was time to go back to a fall theme!  This is another fun teacup design, like the Spring/Summer one I finished awhile back.  There's a winter one to work on sometime soon, too - they make a fun series!

I'm listening to The Dutch House, by Ann Patchett, read by Tom Hanks, so that will be good for some slow stitching time today.  Thanks so much to commenters on my Thursday post for recommending it!

That Noel embroidery looks so good in the blue - is that the variegated blue? I love that little teacup, I saw that yesterday on Kathy's website. Have you seen her four-seasons sampler pre-order, with the printed panels?

Mash? That was a beautiful spot you were visiting last weekend. Your stitcheries are lovely. I'll have to check for that book - I just finished reading Lilac Girls. Time to find the last book in that series.

Glad you are enjoying The Dutch House. We discussed it at book club…they all know I liked listening to Tom H reading it to me!!!
Noel is beautiful. Your friend is lucky to be receiving a special gift made by you! The fall embroidery is perfect for this time of year.

NOEL is very pretty. Something nice to stitch while watching MASH. I love the squirrel on Autumn Brew. Enjoy your stitching!

Your Christmas stitching looks nice in blue. And the autumn squirrel is going to be cute. I think it was MASH you were watching. One of my all time favourite shows!

I think you are watching the old series MASH or the movie - always liked it. Looks like you had good scenes for your vacation - we have such thick fog this morning that we will be delayed from going to the park for awhile - if you can't see the view it doesn't make sense to go out when so foggy - we are very near the entrance to Cumberland Gap National Park in TN

I just love seeing the embroidery blocks you come up with!
Noel is beautiful - the thread colour just gives it a cool wintery feeling. Enjoy the fall block stitching with the squirrel!
