I shared these photos earlier in the month in other posts, but decided it was easier to make a new post for Sandra's DrEAMi link-up. Each month or holiday season this year, I've been looking for a cute idea to make my mom a festive mug rug.
In April I just *had to* sew a carrot!
The pattern, partially paper-pieced and partially traditional piecing, came from
And that block turned into this little mug rug!
My mom is enjoying these! What will I make for May? Sharing at The DrEAMi link-up at mmmquilts!
That is a great mug rug. I love the orange! I've been trying to think of what could be the theme for may, but can't come up with anything yet. I will wait and see!
that is a cute one!
Really neat little Mug Rug--nice work..now you can sit yourself down and have a "cuppa" and a cookie using it;))) hugs, Julierose
Just so darn cute! Sally has the best designs. I still just love her piglet block which I see every day because the Tiny Tuesday quilt rests on the end of our bed or on the cedar chest. Bet your mom was tickled pink!
How precious, Diann . Your carrot quilt turned out fabulous. Looking forward to seeing all that you do in May.
So sweet! The carrot mug rug looks perfect with the little bunnies. Good job, Diann.
I bet your mother is really enjoying the little surprise each month!
SEW super cute, Diann! Your Mom was ready for the Easter bunny with that adorable carrot mug rug. :o))
It's still cute as ever. May flowers should be your prompt for her new mug rug;) just a thought, hehe.
Very cute! Some may flowers maybe?
What a sweet gift for your Mom! The fabrics are so pretty together.
That is just adorable!!!
Adorable! What a fun project, to make one for your mom every month.
