Good morning! I'm joining in with Linda and friends at Texas Quilt Gal for the To-Do Tuesday link-up, sharing what I've been working on and my new list for this coming week.
I also finished up the January Table Scraps project! Here's a peek at the back, from when I was getting ready to sew the binding.
Those funny little shapes stumped me when I first found this fat quarter!
Milk bottles? Bowling pins? Penguins? But no, they are actually snowmen.
Click to zoom in if you want a better view!
I even got to something that was on the "maybe" list, and that is top and bottom borders on the crumb hearts quilt. Happy to have accomplished this one!
Right now this measures 48.5 inches square.
My plan is to add additional borders to the top and
bottom to get it to 48.5 x about 60.
So on this week's list:
- Photograph and write up the posts for this weekend's Table Scraps link-up.
- Make two new cloth napkins, in red, according to my January plans.
- Work on the next border for the SAHRR project - diamonds are called for this week's border - see HERE for more info!
- Add additional top and bottom borders to the Crumb Hearts quilt.
Have a great week, everyone!

Ownn those snowman are cute. looking forward to seeing your table scrap for this month. Those baskets are so pretty, great idea to make them with the color of the month for RSC. Great projects, Diann, I am sure you are having so much fun making them. Have a good day!
Milk bottles disguised as snowmen. lol
I love your colorful baskets!
You have been very successful in your project list! The crumb hearts are looking so good! Looking forward to your TSC reveal!
Your rainbow hearts are very pretty. Congratulations.
I was going along with milk bottles until I enlarged -- smiling snowman. What a hoot! Congrats on moving projects along.
Are those snowmen Debbie Mumm ones, they look like her style.
Congrats on moving your heart blocks along. I am working on my Table Scraps project too.
Love your colorful little baskets! I have a similar project (wip) that I'm doing in fall scrappy colors (really need to get that one back out!). That's funny--I've seen those snowmen and had similar thoughts! I do love the little guys but I'm a snowman lover to begin with. :o)
I recognized the snowman fabric right away -- I've had it before. I believe it was from Primitive Gatherings? Love your crumb hearts!
Love your red baskets, what a great idea, making me want to take part too!! Love the heart top. All the best for the diamonds round. From one retired teacher to another! Just parallel with your photo! Kathryn Quilts
A tisket, a tasket, some lovely red baskets! Such fun projects to see! I would've never guessed that backing was snowmen! haha! Looking forward to seeing your next SAHRR border!
Those baskets and hearts are both so cute!
LOVE those little basket blocks and can't WAIT to see what's on the other side of that snowman backing!!
LOL I thought milk bottles at first! Your baskets and hearts are adorable!
That crumb heart quilt is so cute!!! And you're making 2 different blocks for the RSC this year?
I'm on the same wavelength as Sharon. I thought they were milk bottles. They're awfully cute.
So they ARE snowmen - I would have guessed just like you did. How cute is that fabric. Love your crumbs, sounds like you are going to get it to lap sized. How clever to do your bloom basket as your RSC.
Thanks for linking up with To Do Tuesday!
