To-Do Tuesday #66

Good morning!   I'm checking in today with my weekly to-do list and linking up with Roseanne and friends for the To-Do Tuesday linky party at Home Sewn By Us.  I hope you've all had a wonderful week!

One benefit of not going away for the long Thanksgiving weekend is that there is lots of sewing time!  That helps with checking things off the to-do list.

1.  I finished up the first Covered in Love block and have all the pieces and parts cut, made, and ready to make another.

2.  Finish sewing the rainbow jungle trees together and work on the borders.  The tree center is completed, and border fabric purchased, but not cut into yet.  That part will stay on the list for the coming week.

3.  Work on sewing the embroidered snowmen and snowflakes into a little tablerunner.   The top is now together, and I just need to get it quilted!

So it's been a productive week!  Things on the list for the coming week include:

1.  Finish the snowmen tablerunner.  This is a gift for a friend, so I want to get it to her to use this month!

2.  Finish the CiL blocks and get them sent.

3.  Borders for the Rainbow Jungle - hopefully!  They should be easy - I just need to be in the right mood for that kind of cutting and sewing.  😉

4.  I'm playing around with another Christmas project - so giving myself time to play!

Plenty to keep busy with this week!  Have a great week!

Those colors on your CIL block are so pretty! Can't wait to see your finished trees and I love that snowmen table runner.
I found myself with much more holiday sewing time also, and I'm fighting squirrels in my room every day.
Did your Mom celebrate alone this year?

Your snowman runner is coming along nicely, adding the Christmas print for the border looks perfect:) Good luck on your goal list for this week.

Oh those trees are being so shy. I'd love to see all of them together. I am sure they are a gorgeous forest. Oh Diann, when did you not have a productive week? Insert head shaking emoji here :-)

Lots of fun and productivity in your sewing room this week! The red work snowman table runner is sooooo cute,
If I was close to my machine I would have done a block or two for CiL also. But alas...not the case this year. I’ll be back to it in the new year!

Hi Diann! In theory, I totally agree with your analysis of the long holiday weekend. In practice . . . for me . . . not so much. HAHAHA! Love the CiL block - I've never seen this block before, that I know of. It makes a spectacular looking block - it will be a beautiful quilt. Hmm, teasing us with the jungle trees, huh?! Well, I am thrilled to see your embroidered snowman runner. I can't wait to see how you quilt it - I have a redwork throw quilt that has been awaiting attention for years. Great job on your list and thanks so much for linking up today. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

Your Snowmen & Flakes looks very nice. I see you ended up with a different green border. Always time for a bit of stash enhancement! Your Covered in Love blocks is stunning! A bit fussy, but even more beautiful!
