To-Do Tuesday #149

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  It's To-Do Tuesday at Texas Quilt Gal - thanks, Linda for hosting this fun link-up each week!

I wasn't planning to have a lot of sewing time this week, but it turns out that I got more done than I expected.  That's always a pleasant surprise!

My main goal for the week was to make progress on my orange blocks for August in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, and I did!

It turns out that I also had time to get the quilt layers spray basted for Halloween Jubilee, and even some quilting started!

One other thing has been on my mind to get completed, and that is the blocks for the Covered in Love July/August block drive for Uvalde, Texas.   Time to get these in the mail!

So, my list for the coming week:
  • Work on the Bloom blocks with orange baskets.  These require lots of HSTs!

  • Continue quilting on Halloween Jubilee.
  • Finish up my August Table Scraps project.  The top is completed, just needs quilting and binding.
  • That's probably enough!
Have a great week!

Like Ivani, I'm impressed with the progress you make on different projects. Love that Halloween Jubilee quilt, especially with the purples in it. Good luck with your HSTs this week!
Thank you for sharing with us at To Do Tuesday!

Nice that you found a good chunk of time to quilt this week. Halloween Jubilee will be done in time to enjoy it this October.

Can't wait to see Halloween Jubilee all quilted up! It'll be done just in time. Isn't it fun to find yourself with a little extra time??

I like the colors in your Halloween Jubilee - will be fun to see you finish that one up! You have some fun, colorful blocks, too - as usual!

It will be so fun to have your Halloween Jubilee all quilted up and ready to hang! I've been in the fall decorating mood. It's still warm, but the mornings and nights are cooling off! Good job on your Marsala blocks. My productivity is lacking. But I finally tested negative this morning. I have not tested every day, but I really wanted to go vote today. I could have done an Absentee/vote by mail, my preference, but didn't make that happen. Our state does not automatically mail a ballot. And this year we had to show ID. Never before! Golly gee! That kind of upsets me. Not that I'm opposed to verifying ID, but then does it leave out people in the hospital, nursing homes, those sick with Covid at home (maybe me). OK, off my soapbox!!

Everything looks wonderful. You are so organized, and I'm over here flitting from one thing to another. LOL!
