Getting started on August

 Not quite finished...

But close!  I'm stitching the binding on Crumb Hearts.  Orange hearts for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month!

And just barely started... some orange hand-pieced plus blocks.  Pumpkins and starfish on orange!  One more prepped to stitch up when I finish the binding on the hearts quilt.

This one has marigolds...

And I really love marigolds!

Fabric marigolds and real marigolds - what a cute transition! Your crumb hearts quilt is darling. Can’t wait to see it in all its finished glory!

May your hand stitching be productive in the coming week. Love the orange plus blocks. I'm allergic to marigolds, but fabric ones are cool. And pictures of yours are so pretty.

Ohhh, such sweet heart blocks! We just had Kelly Young of MyQuiltInfatuation speak at our quilt guild this week, all about her slab quilt books. I will definitely do some of that next year with the RSC. I love plus blocks, and marigolds, too!!! 🔶

Yay for a finished quilt. (by the time you read this, you are probably done sewing the binding.) Love your marigolds. They are cute little pom-pom flowers. ;^)

Marigolds hold good memories for me - my grandpa always planted them along his driveway! Pretty plus blocks and how exciting to be almost done the binding on your pretty quilt. Have a great Sunday.

I love your backgrounds for your hand pieced blocks. Marigolds are so bright and cheery. . .especially the orange ones. When I was a kid, I used to make floral arrangements of the orange ones from my mom's garden. She put up with blooms in the house and not on the plants!

Heading to the finish line!! I think marigolds are beautiful too, happy orange and yellows. I only wish I could get them to come from seed, I know my mom always did. I have some that are really full of ruffles. I'll have to post this week;)
