I Like Thursday #155

Happy Thursday, friends!  Hope you're having a great week!  Ours has been a little up and down, as I shared in my Tuesday post, with some plumbing issues.

Today (Wednesday as I write this), they brought the Big Rig to do the final work.

The neighbors are probably really wondering now!
So far, no one has come out to ask, though.

This is not something to like - but hopefully by the time you are reading this, it will  all be over with, and we will really be *liking* that!

Meanwhile, this made me laugh when I saw it on Facebook the other day!

I love this pretty view of fall colors that I noticed out our front window yesterday.

It's time to decorate with pumpkins, and I always like that!

And I love pumpkin yogurt, too.

Yesterday, I discovered a stash of brown-ish/gold scraps that I had forgotten about.  That was a fun surprise!  They make me think of warm butterscotch.

I decided to use them for some string blocks to go
with my Rainbow Scrap Challenge string quilt project.

Hope you're having a great week!  Be sure to visit all the I Like Thursday posts at Not Afraid of Color.  See you there!

Lovely likes this week--that yogurt sounds delish; our trees are getting shorn by our heavy winds this morning, so I don't know if we will have a whole lot left to color up hugs, Julierose

I have been busy and missed the plumbing problems. Must go back later nd read. Great likes. I think you are quite right, time for fall decor.

I hope your plumbing problems are over now. Out here in the boonies we have an aerobic septic system and are required by the state to have a quarterly maintenance contract, so nothing is ever cheap!
Yum on that pumpkin yogurt. I will visit Dairy Queen soon to get my annual pumpkin pie blizzard fix. I have to get the mini size or I'd make a pig of myself. I love pumpkin in everything - food and decor.
I love your butterscotch description on the brown/gold scraps!

Hopefully your plumbing problems are corrected! And just in time. We are getting cold and snow yesterday and today, Thursday, I definitely am not ready for winter yet! I too, have a few more Fall decorations to dig out! Have a great weekend!

Hi Diann! I am still chucking of the dinosaurs being extinct and the possibility that it's because they don't quilt. HAHA! I certainly hope the Big Rig has completed its job and is long gone. Hmm, pumpkin yogurt - I've not had that flavor but I'll take your word for it that it is delicious. ~smile~ Roseanne

I can't even tell you how many of those pumpkin yogurts I've eaten (so far) this season. YUM!!!

I haven’t seen pumpkin yogurt at my regular grocery store, but we’re going to Target and Trader Joe’s today, so I have high hopes! Sorry to hear of all your plumbing issues. We just got a dentist bill that blew me away. We haven’t received a statement of any kind for 2.5 years. It’s always been just filling replacements and cleanings, so it’s never been anything that insurance didn’t handle. Or so we thought. That’s my task today - to figure out how the heck that balance happened and make a plan to pay it pronto before the Christmas season starts! It’s always SOMETHING.

That dinosaur illustration is fabulous. I love dinosaurs, and I love t-rex puns about short arms, and I love sewing, which makes that the perfect thing! And butterscotch! The fabrics are pretty but now I want to make oatmeal butterscotch cookies!

I'm hoping that first one will be a like soon too :-) I'm not a big pumpkin flavor fan, so I'll leave that yogurt on the shelf for you. Glad you're taking care of it!! I do like butterscotch, though, and those fabrics are so pretty. Will be fun to see what you are making with them!

I love sugar pumpkins - cute to decorate, then cook them up for pie! Fall colors, fall weather. How lovely.

I really enjoyed seeing your projects in the last post, Diann. Getting plumbing issues all sorted is one of the best likes of all. I’ve not seen pumpkin yogurt...sounds yummy!

The dinasaur meme made me laugh out loud :D Love that you have fall colors emerging. We don't but it's been a tough weather year. Maybe later for us. I love your table runner! Have a great week!

I love your fall decorations. Such fun to decorate this time of year! The pumpkin yogurt sounds delicious! I hope your plumbing problems are over. We had a leak for months. The plumbers couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I figured it out and called them back. Sometimes, the homeowner knows better!!
