I got out the box of brown scraps and cut up the littlest chunks into 1.5 x 2.5 inch pieces.
I finished up the black/gray block while starting to sew the browns.
And four 10.5 inch blocks finished so far!
Happy Scrap Happy Saturday! Sharing at SoScrappy.

The rainbow scraps are coming along! I haven't pulled my brown crumbs out yet...maybe this weekend. I think after the brown, I should have enough to make the whole top. I've already been on the lookout for what pattern I want to start next!
I'm like Kristi, already thinking about 2018. I like your little rail fences, Diann. Maybe ....
it is looking good - I can never seem to do a leader/ender - as soon as I start one it seems to be the only thing I want to work on and it becomes the main project LOL
Looking good!
Those went together quickly! Very pretty.
Oh this is so cute--loving your rainbow setting...hugs, julierose
Those are great blocks!
Such a simple block, but it will be very effective in a quilt and use up those scraps, a win win.
Really cute blocks! Sounds like they were quick, too!
Those 10" blocks look lovely together. It's going to grow very fast at this rate!
I worked on the same little versatile blocks but don't leader/ender. I like your layout. It's so different from mine.
A very easy leader/ender blocks. I do like the black and gray blocks with tiny bits of bright. This will be a useful quilt for any age. Keep up the good work!
Okay, you just proved that black belongs in every rainbow quilt. Awesome!
