More with aqua...

It's been a busy week getting ready to host my quilt group, but all went well and there was lots of fun show and tell.

Quilty friends in the house!

I did manage to get the two 16 patch stars sewn up, and I'm happy with the mix of darker and lighter aquas, too.

Sixteen of them now!

Leaders and enders this week were a tiny aqua 16 patch, and pieces and parts for a blue Gameboard block.

Sharing at SoScrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday.

And at Melva Loves Scraps for Sew and Tell Monday.

It’s always fun to get together with our quilting friends. Show and tell is always a highlight. Love your aqua blocks. I have done the cutting for my blocks and will get them sewn this afternoon. That cat fabric is wonderful! Gail at the cozy quilter

Glad your quilty meeting went well, and what a pretty room that is! I would be stretched to find enough seating for everyone, but they all look comfy.
Love your 16-patch stars. I've got some of those somewhere and now will have to go look for them. Or did I make them into a quilt already? LOL!

Having a quilt-y group of friends is awesome. Love those blocks. I haven't made any aqua Gameboard blocks yet, but plan to work on them this weekend.

Wow, there are a lot of people posting early this morning! What were you all contemplating as you looked at that long aqua piece? I can think of a few captions . . .

What a fun post! It’s so fun to get together with quilty friends to share progress and chat. It feeds the soul. As always, I love your scrappy stars. Does this conclude them for you, or will you be making another few in neutrals (brown, gray, whatever) to add to it?

Lucky you to have quilt friends nearby so you can gather at one and other's home.

The 16 patch star quilts are so much fun because of their scrappy nature. Who knew there would be cats and sea creatures dancing between the stars.
