It's sunflower time!

This week I finished up the August heart to display for the month on the mini quilt stand.  I loved stitching this one last August, and I'm really happy with the finish, too!

Thank you, Melisa, for sharing this sweet doodle!

All of my sunflower stitches are on display here for the month of August.

I might need a few more to fill up the basket!

The two projects that I have in progress have some sunflowers in them - the Old Crow Salt Box from PinkernPunkin and Hello Summer from Primrose Cottage.

There's lots more stitching to do on both of these,
so I have a choice for my Sunday Slow Stitching today!

Linking up with Kathy's Quilts.

I hung up my sunflower cross stitch this week and we took my mother in law for a drive to see the local sunflower fields. Tis the season for sunflowers! You found the perfect fabric to frame your heart embroidery. Happy stitching to you! Gail at the cozy quilter.

I recognize those fabrics on your table topper! I dug out my placemats made of them this week too. Great sunflower stitchery, perfect August display.

Are those your sunflowers in your vase? So pretty! I love your sunflower stitch, and the salt box is so pretty, love the blue. Now that I've delivered the wedding quilt I need to work on Hello Summer before August gets away from me!

August is always when I bring out my sunflowers. Some fresh from the garden, some in silks. They're the perfect transition to fall. (Also our state flower)
