I Like Thursday #442

Happy (almost) 4th of July!  The gals at my mom's house never disappoint with their cute decorations.

There have been a bunch of baby bunnies in our yard the last couple weeks.  They are so cute!  (Even if they are naughty!)

I said I would report back on my reusable zip-lock bags, so here we are after having them for a week!

I like them!  The zipper part is well-made and stays tight.
Food stays fresh, too.

The "downside" is you do have to wash them.  But a little warm, soapy water, and then rinse and let drip dry does the trick!  I hang them on a wine bottle.

Cheers!  🍷 😜

I got an unexpected package in the mail yesterday, from Libby at Life on the Hill.  She's keeping me in penguins.  Look, they have boots - love it!  Thank you, Libby!

LeeAnna's question of the week is about picnics.  I always love a picnic!  When we travel, we take a cooler with picnic food and look for places we can have our lunch.  Lunch with a view is always a favorite!

And then there's a picnic at a winery.  Also a favorite!

In fact, we haven't had a picnic lunch in a few weeks - time to take care of that!

Lunch with a view. . .loved your explanation of a picnic lunch! Yes, those lunches are the best. The bunnies here eat our little roses so much that they don't have many leaves or blooms! Cute but naughty is a great description!

Penguins with boots! Those bunnies are so cute, LOL on them being naughty! I still remember church picnics from when I was a kid. Never had to do any work, just play then eat, then play some more. My most memorable picnic was when our kids were little and we lived in Oklahoma City. I fried a chicken and made brownies from scratch and a side dish or two, but it was all so effortless back then, even with little kids. Wish I had that energy now!

I wonder how those zip bags would be in the freezer. I like that the corners seem rounded as that would make it easier to wash out.

interesting on the bags I might look and see how I like them. I use a lot though for dividing meat up into smaller packages and other things. Nice penguins! I like picnic lunches. I like your 4th of July gnome
