I'm still working on the Ole Crow Saltbox stitch from PinkernPunkin Quilting. A little more of the blue house keeps emerging each week as I get farther on it!
Meanwhile I also got started on quilting the Kathy Schmitz Woven Wreaths panel. I decided to hand quilt it with a backing, but may still turn it into a pillow cover. The embroidery was done in DMC floss color 930, which is dark antique blue. Since there are both medium and darker blues in the fabric surrounding the enbroidery designs, I'm quilting with DMC perle cotton in color 931, medium antique blue - a little bit lighter.
Plenty more to do for Slow Sunday Stitching!
Linking up at Kathy's Quilts.

You have the blues this week...such pretty blues too! Both projects looking great! Gail
Your Woven Wreaths is so cute and I think hand quilting it is a good idea, it looks great. Progress on another cute cross-stitching project. Makes me want to pull out my stitcheries again, they have been neglected for too long.
Such a beautiful blue quilt with the handwork. Lovely!
Love your blues Diann. That Kathy Schmitz piece is going to be stunning!
Two great projects! The crows are so darn cute!
Very pretty! Love the blue salt box house.
The woven wreaths stitching is really lovely! Merry Christmas Diann
Yay for progress on both projects! How big is the woven hearts piece going to be?
I really like the Old Crow Saltbox. I also like how you are quilting the Woven Wreaths panel. Merry Christmas!
Love your Kathy Schmitz panel. I really like the idea of your hand quilting; it will make it sensational. And Melissa has such great projects on the small size; always a treat to stitch as well.
