Slow Stitching for a Sunday

I've been switching over my fall decorations for Christmas/Winter ones, and I finished up Melisa's little design "Bringing Home the Tree."  You might notice that the snow and snowman are stitched in blue - I could tell you it's because it was so cold here when I was working on this one that everything turned blue with cold!  But really, I used blue floss because I realized white wouldn't show up against the white background!

So I kept up the blue theme with the pillow backing, too.

Even Santa has a blue suit here!

I have more cross-stitch and embroidery pieces in progress, but first I'm going to finish stitching the binding on the Christmas tablerunner that I've been working on the last couple of weeks.

This will be my slow stitching for today!

Linking up with Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.

Good idea to use the blue, that is a cute cross stitch. Love the blue Santa too. Wish it was colder here as we are forecast high 60s into the low 70s this week. Not my kind of winter weather! We really need to move north to a cooler clime. ;)

I love the little tree with the blue snowman! Also the blue Santa! Did you know that Santa traditionally wears blue in many German homes? He wears red in the US because of Coca Cola, believe it or not. These are darling little things, regardless of color!
