Let the sun shine in!

It's cold and snowy at my house today, but there has been sunshine in my sewing room all week!

I was determined to finish up my project for an upcoming blog hop, and I did!  Here's just a hint for now -

How's that for a rainbow of binding goodness?!
More about this one later this month!

Meanwhile, yellow is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for April, so I've been pulling out all the sizes and shades of yellow I can find.

I had a chance to start cutting some up and ended up with these bits and pieces sitting by my machine.

So far, they've turned into...

one yellow bowtie -

I definitely need more of these!

And a yellow Scrappy Sprout to add to the collection!

I also worked on one more set of blocks for Libby's Mystery -

Hope the sun's been shining in your sewing room this week!  Sharing at SoScrappy for ScrapHappy Saturday!

You've definitely got some sunny blocks to warm you up. It's been cloudy here most of the week. We are supposed to get snow tonight!

always nice to have something bright and cheerful going on in the sewing room when the weather is nasty outside - I have been in my sewing room half the day or more

I can't wear yellow, but I love to see it in quilts. Great way to brighten your sewing room on a dreary day, too.

We had 7" of the white stuff on Tuesday. So I sewed a bunch, quilted some more and machine knitted. I like your sunshine projects!

Very pretty blocks! I recognize some of those yellow fabrics from my own stash. :) Can't wait to see what that gorgeous binding goes to.

The colourful bindings look great. Lovely work with the yellows, too. Not an easy colour to work with.

Ooo! Pretty binding! Now tell me how you make them look perfect so consistently! What method do you use? Do you mind if I pick your brain about this?
