They are 1.5 x 2.5 chunks of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month sewn to 1.5 x 2.5 neutral scraps. When sewn together they make a 2.5 inch square.
I decided to make 25 of each color grouping, to eventually create a larger block which would be about 10 inches finished.
I had made these little blocks out of orange, yellow, and black/gray. This month I made pink ones, and started sewing the larger blocks together.
Pink...
And orange...
After a little trimming - voila!
These work great for leaders and enders and use up some little scraps, too!

Your blocks look great! I have thought about this block too for RSC. There are just so many layout options! Looking forward to seeing yours grow!
Those are fun blocks! :) Great way to use up scraps!
Leaders and Enders work great. You end up with something eventually with out realising it
You bricks will make a sweet quilt.
Aren't those cute! I like the block layout you chose.
You will have a cute 'free' quilt when you are done. I can hardly wait until January when I hope to have time to jump around in my scrap bins!!
Your cute blocks really show what Angela had in mind for Rainbow Scrap Challenge by using up your smallest scraps to make quilt goodness. Keep up the good work!
that will be great quilt
That's a great idea ... and a beautiful one too. It will make a fantastic quilt. Oh I need to remember this one for myself. Great job Diann! ;^)
I love rectangles for leader ender projects! Yours are beautiful. I enjoy the Rainbow Scrap Challenge too. Helps me keep control of the little bits I would otherwise forget! This year I've been doing crumbs!
A fun block for getting some of those scraps into a finished block.
Cute, cute blocks!! AWESOME leader/ender project. I've got some started, but on a larger scale. Now, I really want to try them small!!!
