Multi-color Bow Ties

April's color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is multi-color... the fabrics that just don't fit into one particular color category.  This week, I had fun digging into my stash to see what might fit that theme and I pulled out -

Apples, bicycles, sewing items, and owls!

Bow tie blocks are so fast and easy to sew up that it only took a few minutes to make these -

But why stop there?  So I made a few more!

These blocks finish at 6 inches, so it will be awhile before I have enough to make anything, but that doesn't bother me!  I just enjoy making a few whenever I get the chance!

Happy ScrapHappy Saturday!  Check out what all of the other Rainbow Scrap Quilters have been up to, every Saturday over at SoScrappy.

I love your bow ties! They are wonderful, what great fabrics you have! Thanks for the I Like this week. We were wondering about the cauliflower pie crust and wanted to know what anyone else thought of it. Thanks! Take care and have a wonderful week!

Fun to have a side project you can just pick up now and then when you have a few minutes.

Great bowtie blocks! Isn’t it fun playing with multi-colored fabric? I am going to add multis to my gaggle of bowties, too, thanks to you!!.

I'm a sucker for novelty prints. They make any quilt more interesting. LOVE your prints. It's going to be fun watching your bow tie block collection grow.

Terrific idea for these hard-to-pigeonhole fabrics! And I have a newfound love for/fascination with 6" blocks.
