Pink flowers and a watermelon!

I planted some pink petunias yesterday afternoon.  These are hanging off our back porch.  I hope they grow and fill in the pot!

I stitched some pink flowers, too!  Since starting Melisa's Summer stitch-along, I've been ignoring the Gail Pan Spring design that I had been working on.  This is from her book, Changing Seasons.  I've already finished "Winter," and eventually there will be Summer and Fall, too.  I've decided it really is time to finish up Spring!

Alternating with that each evening, I also stitched up stamp #3 for the Summer SAL at PinkernPunkin.  It made me crave some watermelon, lol!

On to stamp #4, which has sunflowers to stitch!

Your petunias are so pretty, Diann. You got me thinking of adding some to a hanging basket for my patio. I adore our Gail Pan stitch. She has the sweetest designs. Aaw and your Summer Stamps look wonderful. You brought a smile to my day. Hugs and Blessings.

It is not watermelon eating time quite yet but I am also looking forward to when they are available from the farmer’s market. Alternating between projects is a good way to make progress on both. I love your embroidery…the pops of colour on the flowers are perfect! Gail at the cozy quilter

I love those pretty pink petunias. We do not have a good place to hang potted plants - too much hot summer sun - and I miss them! Your stitching is so pretty and colorful.

I agree with you about watermelon time! Your pink petunias are so bright. They are the perfect accent for this time of year!

Pretty stitcheries, sweet cross stitches; both put a smile on my dial, Diann. Those pretty pink petunias will soon be cascading over the hanging basket; so summery.

it might take a couple weeks to get established but I hope your petunias grow and fill in the basket - I put 3 in different areas of the garden and hope they will fill in soon

I have petunias in hanging pots too. Your stitchery projects are coming along nicely.
