I've mostly been focused on finishing my Stay at Home Round Robin quilt this week, but I did take a couple hours of sewing time just to play in the red scraps. Some crumb blocks are developing into this month's scrappy placemat.
And red and white strip sets turned into tiny four patches! It has been awhile since I looked at the Gameboard blocks, but the last time I did, I think I decided I need 30 blocks total, so at least three in each color of the month. It turns out that I had only made one in red so far.
So these 2.5 inch red four patches
will turn into the center 4.5 inch 16 patches.
And then I finished one more red Gameboard block, to give me a total of sixteen now. More than halfway!
I can definitely use more of those colors in the bottom row, so a few more little 16 patches are waiting for their turn to be made into more Gameboard blocks!

I am quite smitten over the Gameboard blocks, Diann. Such pretty fabrics in each. The red crumb blocks will make a wonderful placemat. You are certainly staying busy. Have a fabulous weekend. Hus
Another RSC project getting some attention. It’s a fun way to build a quilt. How many RSC projects are you working on? Nice block collection. Gail at the cozy quilter
It's fun to see those gameboard blocks again. The reds are really pretty. My red scraps are calling my name!
I've totally forgotten my Gameboard blocks the past couple of months. Oops!! Love how yours are looking! I need to pull that hanger out of the closet and see how many I actually have so far.
The collected gameboards really emphasize the pattern. Enjoy Worldwide Quilting Day!
Those game board blocks are sure calling to Gertie. I'm trying to hold her off as I've so many projects that need quilted. . . big sigh! She may end up twisting my arm. . .but, not this month!!!
Your Gameboard blocks are beautiful and make a great quilt. Pretty red crumbs for a placemat.
those blocks all look really good -it is a happy quilt
When you start your RSC quilts do you have a size in mind or do you just decide that as you are working on them?
Those gameboard blocks are so fun! The little red crumbs are coming along nicely. Hope you have AC to run with the hot weather.
The Gameboard blocks look cuter every time you add to the mix! And it's fun to see your crumbs come to life as you puzzle them together.
So many fun red blocks going on in your studio, Diann! I love them all!
Those game board blocks are really fun. Red is such a happy color to sew with. Enjoy finishing up your crumb blocks.
Your Game board RSC blocks are delightful, Diann!
Those little blocks are so darn cute. How big are they? Your color choices really make them sing. (So to speak!)
