I did end up working on each of my three hand stitching projects over the last week, and progress was made! These two saw a little bit of stitching on a few different days -
Apple Mini Sampler and Gail Pan's Pumpkins and Sunflowers
But I spent the most time on the Orange Peel project and got all of the orange peels quilted! It took me awhile to get that task accomplished, but I finally got it done.
Now I am quilting a diagonal line through each of the background squares in both directions. Things should go a little faster now!
There'll be plenty of stitching to do while football is on at our house today!

Nice work hugs, Julierose
The orange peel project is really coming along. Happy slow stitching this week.
Nice to have a variety of hand stitching to work on! The quilting on the orange peel project looks wonderful. Great fall embroidery and cross stitch projects too. Gail at the cozy quilter
You did make nice progress on your handwork this week!
The peels look great! Yes, the straight lines should go much faster for you now. Enjoy the game!
Your stitching always looks so neat. I like the orange peel project. The colours work really well together.
Absolutely stunning! I love this quilt!
Your hand work is beautiful! I do enjoy seeing your progress on the orange peel. That is one pretty piece!
All the projects are beautiful, I love the sunflower 🌻 stitch pattern. It make me smile and it is a happy! It is a pleasure to read and visit your blog. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us.
Your orange peels are delightful, Diann, as are all of your projects! Isn't it lovely to have hand stitching in your lap with the sports ball games on the TV? :-)
Your projects are so pretty. I love the fabrics of you orange peels.
I love the orange peel the colors are so neat.
The orange peels are just beautiful. Hoping to get some stitching done today. Binding on my Hometown Christmas, hopefully in time for the quilt show the first weekend in October. 🤞
That is a lot of stitching teeny letters, Diann. Your orange peels are gorgeous. Such beautiful fabrics. Some hand quilting while you watch the football sounds like a great way to spend your Sunday. Enjoy!
It's a gorgeous piece.
Your orange peel piece is exceptionally pretty, I love it! College football Saturdays in the fall are my favorite days, but I can't do any kind of stitching while watching OU football, I have to watch every play and yell - lol!
I love all the pieces that orange peel is sensational! Love the colors and love the work! Have a wonderful week!
The orange peels are so appealing! (Or is that appeeling?) I thought of you at the show I went to yesterday that had a quilt combining cross stitch and patchwork.
Just caught up on your posts, Diann. Lovely blocks all. But isn't this Orange Peels piece just so pretty! And your lovely quilt stitches too. You must be ever so pleased with this one. Also enjoy seeing the slow stitching always. Take Care, J
The Gail Pan piece is going to be adorable. How will you finish it? I love the orange peels, too. You've made good progress!
