Celebrating International Embroidery Month!

I haven't had an embroidery project to stitch on since I finished up Woven Wreaths last month, so when I saw that Crabapple Hill Studios was hosting one last International Embroidery Month stitch-along, I knew I wanted to join in.  You can find the free pattern on their website under the Downloadables tab.

There are actually two choices of design to work on - I chose "Choose Kindness."  Here's the pattern example:

And here's where I am - not very far along - but enjoying these sunny sunflowers!

Something needs to bring some sun in here, judging by the current view outdoors!

Brrr!

This project is appropriate for the weather!  I finished stamp 3 last night - Sledding Friends!
Stamp 4 is  A Winter Mitten.  Definitely needed right now!

There should be plenty of time for slow stitching today!

Choose Kindness is looking fabulous, Diann. Love the big bright sunflowers. And it is such a joy to see your progress on the winter sampler. We may get some snow later this week. So I am still working on winter pieces too. Enjoy your day. Hugs.

You do need some sunshine in your corner! We might be hogging it all this coming week with upper 80s. Your new stitches look great.

If you are currently enjoying the frigid temps and wicked winds that I am, you definitely need those mittens. The sunflowers are bright and cheerful. The make you hope warm weather comes soon. I like your Sledding stamp. Stay safe and warm.

Such a lovely embroidery piece you are stitching, Diann. Those sunflowers will sprinkle sunshine in your snowy little corner of the world. 'Choose Kindness' is very apt for these times.

I love the pattern you chose! I'm trying to get some embroidery finished but it's been a busy month. Thanks for sharing where the pattern originated. I love it and your embroidery is FABULOUS!
