Slow stitching this week...

Just in the nick of time, on Friday night, I fully finished this little summer design from Melisa at PinkernPunkin.  She calls it Summertime USA, and you can find the chart for it here.  I actually stitched this one last July, and left it to finish up this summer!

Happy 4th of July!

Also this week I stitched up stamp 8 for Melisa's Summer Stamp SAL.  I enjoyed all the bee related items on this one!

Just one more to go!

And a little more work was put into the Summer embroidery from Gail Pan, too.
  • Red strawberries ✔️
  • Red flowers ✔️
  • Red bird ✔️
But red bees?  That sounds like something from a scary movie!  Maybe I'll take a hint from the apiary stamp in Melisa's design and add some gold and black to this design.

Plenty to stitch on for Slow Sunday Stitching!
Linking up with Kathy's Quilts.

Bees are a common theme in your summer projects. The summer stamps have gathered all the fun themes of the season! Your embroidery stitches are beautiful! Gail at the cozy quilter

Nice to have one new stitching to show off on the 4th! I finally pulled out some fabric and thread for Summer, I am just doing the word, bird, watermelon and sunflower.

Oh yes! Red bees would be kind creepy. I like your idea to add black and yellow.

I saw a really neat stitchery on a blog Europe, I didn't know some of them do stitching for our celebrations too

Aaw Summertime USA is gorgeous, Diann and it looks fabulous with your recent table quilt which I am smitten over. Thank you so much for stitching this little stamp. Oh I think yellow and black bees would be perfect! I just adore this little embroidery. I bet it is a relaxing piece to work on. Enjoy your week. Hugs.
