This happens to me every year, when it is aqua month. I have scraps in so many shades of blue-green that I can't decide quite where they fit. So I googled and found this -
I think my scraps fit all the shades!
For block sewing, I started with the Jacob's Ladder project. The darker block was hard to photograph - that solid is more in the Teal shade, and pretty dark. See the top left grouping in the above photo.
Fourteen 12.5 inch blocks now!
July is on its way!

Blue-green is tricky! You have lots of scraps in a variety of blue-greens to use for this month’s blocks. Your Jacob’s ladder block collection is growing nicely.
They are all pretty colors and look great together! But I'm prejudiced, I love all the teals and aquas and turquoises. Love your blocks.

Determining Teal/Aqua/Turquoise from some shades of blue or green has always been an issue for me. But it's a fun group of shades to sew with. Looks like you've got a good start on your RSC blocks for July.
Those colors sure can be confusing. You have picked all the right colors as those blocks mesh together so well.

Aqua is tricky. . .I too went with similar shades; but, hope I got the aqua feel in the end! Your blocks look great!
That blue-green is so pretty but can be so hard to work into quilts. I love how your blocks look.
Look at all those pretty fabrics! Your Jacob's Ladder blocks are beautiful. Some colors are difficult to photograph and I think teal is one of them.

OK, you had me a teal, turquoise and aqua. Like you, I tend to lump them into blue green as the hue and then value, how light/dark. Your Jacob's Ladder blocks are coming along nicely.
The aqua shades have quite the variety included. You did great pulling fabrics fir your blocks. The glacier melts are an awesome shade of aqua.
I have the same problem of discerning aqua. Such a pretty gathering of fabrics to choose from. Your Jacob Ladder blocks look wonderful, Diann. Happy Independence Day .Hugs.
Your blocks worked out very nicely. Many years ago here in New Zealand our airline was called TEAL for Tasman Empire Airways Ltd and yes the hostesses wore teal blue uniforms. Our airline grew to become Air New Zealand.

I think you managed all the shades of teal/aqua and they all look great to me. Jacob's Ladder blocks are a great way to use up your scraps and you are growing quite a collection.
I lumped the all the varying shades of teal and aqua into blues. LOL! I'll be a little more specific this month. ;) I may need to make another true blue block or two. Thanks for joining Sew & Tell.
The turquoise/tea/aqua family is my favorite color palette. I love this!
