Earlier this week, I discovered the grape hyacinths blooming in my garden! Trees are coming out early this year, too - Colorado has had a very mild winter.
I still need to do the Spring garden clean-up!
So I've been stitching in Spring colors this week, too.
This pretty purple is DMC 209 - dark lavender. The Blessings stitch is a start on the "Spring Blessings" free design for March. You can get it if you sign up for their newsletter.
A few more stitches have been added to the Spring embroidery design from Gail Pan, too. Lots more to do on this one!

Spring is coming. . .if it isn't already here! Your stitcheries sure speak Spring!
We are having winter weather today which I am trying to ignore as I look at everyone’s spring stitching projects. The daffodils are sprouting here but no flowers yet. Where did you get the blessings pattern? Pretty colours in your spring stitching projects. Gail at the cozy quilter
I love those spring flosses! It has been a weird winter hasn't it. Are you having wind today? It's crazy here, we had to take down our flags!
I just love those Spring colors--we all need to be looking at those after the white, white snowly Winter months we've been through!!
I think the Spring embroidery is just so cute, Diann;))) Enjoy!
Hugs, Julierose
We've been seeing bits of color here and there. It's starting to green up quickly here. Your thread colors are very spring. Purple is such a fun color to stitch and sew with. Happy stitching today.
I couldn't find any of the grape hyacinth in my yard last year and I know I have them, I need to look again and see if I can. The stitching is looking good.
Fun to be working with such pretty spring colors!
It's still snowing here today! I enjoyed some peeks at spring coming on your blog today - lovely projects!
