I got another envelope of happy mail this past week - this time from Melva. She had chosen my name for a fat quarter prize from the Little House Sew-along. Thank you, Melva!
I don't think my photo shows the color quite right, but in real life it is a pretty turquoise that I think I can use in my Little House blocks. The next block will be at Melva Loves Scraps tomorrow (Thursday - 3/19) - looking forward to it!
Meanwhile I've been working on getting my Stay at Home Round Robin quilt finished up for the parade coming up next Wednesday. I pieced a backing out of three of the leftover fat quarters from the bundle.
Here it is a little closer in.
The next job was quilting -
Wednesday afternoon's job was making the binding and getting it sewn on. Not long until a finish now!
Friday update: hand-finishing the binding is happening. I think I'll make it to the finished parade by next Wednesday!

Nothing like a deadline to spur us on to a finish! Looks like you will be done in plenty of time. Gail at the cozy quilter

Ooh, I like that backing. You've been zooming along on the SAHRR. I did get back to mine yesterday, but didn't get a whole lot done.
Oh you're soooo close to a finish! Hurrah! Can't wait. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

And you are ahead of the game and will have it ready to enjoy this fall.
You are a bit ahead of me. I still need to quilt the last border. I’m pondering. It will go quickly when I get home from my annual Medicare doctor visit. Hope I can get the binding on too, today. I love the colors in your Autumn SAHRR.
Pretty fabric from Melva. You SAHRR is looking so good.
That pieced back is terrific! It looks like it is all one piece of fabric!
