I Like Thursday #456

Good morning!
It's the time of year for seeing beautiful sunrises
out our front window.

Even though we've had some freezing overnight temperatures recently, I still have some flowers blooming - alyssum and marigolds.  They're a fun sight at this time of year!

Indoors, the hexagon topper is finished and on our table.  I'm happy with how it turned out - it was a fun project!

I forgot to share this last week.  Younger son baked some tasty bread - it's called "Ugly Bread!"  (I don't know why!)  The recipe came from Cathie's Craftworks.  I asked her for the recipe and she was so kind to share it.

It turned out kind of like a French bread loaf.

Happy almost Halloween!  We don't get many trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood anymore, definitely not like when our kids were growing up.  But just in case, I'll put on my costume -

And get out some candy -

And maybe someone will ring our doorbell!

I always enjoy your sunrise photos - or any shot with that view. Your pretty topper looks perfect on your table. Yum that bread looks good. Haha that is my kind of Halloween costume!

One of the advantages to sunrises this time of year is that we're awake and alert. Great Halloween t-shirt.

Would you share the bread recipe on your blog. I live in Loveland also and would love a good high altitude bread recipe.

Living in what's essentially a retirement community, we don't get any treaters either. Still, I'll have some candy ready, JIC

We live at the end of a quarter mile driveway. We've never had a trick or treater and we won't have candy because I don't need the calories! Your sunrise photo is gorgeous. I love those colors! Your table topper is sure a cutie!

Beautiful sunrise, Diann. What a lovely view outside of your front window. Your flowers are still looking nice, in spite of the freezes. I love the new topper, it goes very well on your table. The bread looks delish. That was nice of Cathie to share the recipe. Hope you get some trick or treaters.

It's gotten colder here, frost warnings in the mornings. It certainly seems like fall took it's time getting here. Love your Halloween costume. Hope you get a few trick or treaters.

I can smell that bread - yum! This time of year offers up some pretty sunsets, and yours is lovely! Your Halloween costume is a good one. We don't get any kiddos here, so I don't even bother to buy any candy.
