In January, we used light blue for the very first blocks we made, and mine read as Very light!
So... I decided to bring out some medium blues (or as I think of them - mellow!) to use for our current blocks. And here they are!
The accent print is leftover from the group t-shirt quilt and matching pillow that I worked on earlier this summer.
I thought it worked well for my Squared Away blocks, too.
I'm up to 18 blocks! Just two more before we'll be ready to figure out a setting for them.
I really love this set of blocks! They've been so enjoyable to work on. Thanks, Mari and Angela!

Perfect for your quilt~~ I love how you upcycle leftovers! You keep me inspired~!
These look so great! It's going to be a great quilt!
Love those mellow blues. This quilt will be so pretty. Can't wait to see how you lay it out.
I love your 'mellow' blues! Are you seeing the light at the end of the tunnel:)
Great set of blocks, and your new ones, the what, mellow? blues, are lovely!
I just love your blue blocks! I think one of mine is destined for the Parts Department so I can do better! Your quilt will be gorgeous!
What pretty blue blocks! And your sampler collection is looking wonderful!
Your sampler blocks are beautiful!
Your crowns with the accent fabric are wonderful. Now I'm back to dithering - I've also seen seen some crowns using just two colors that I really liked, and now I can't decide which I like best!
your 18 blocks are looking good!
Nice new blocks, and they sure are looking good altogether.
Your Squared Away blocks are looking mighty nice together!
I agree...all your block colors look great together!
What a fun project. I love your rainbow blocks.
Your blocks look great altogether. I think this is going to be a fun quilt.
Your bright blues worked out really well. Have you decided on a setting for these blocks? I don't remember if Mari and Angela had planned to provide one or not.
