In January, we used light blue for the very first blocks we made, and mine read as Very light!
So... I decided to bring out some medium blues (or as I think of them - mellow!) to use for our current blocks. And here they are!
The accent print is leftover from the group t-shirt quilt and matching pillow that I worked on earlier this summer.
I thought it worked well for my Squared Away blocks, too.
I'm up to 18 blocks! Just two more before we'll be ready to figure out a setting for them.
I really love this set of blocks! They've been so enjoyable to work on. Thanks, Mari and Angela!

ReplyDeleteYour sampler blocks are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour crowns with the accent fabric are wonderful. Now I'm back to dithering - I've also seen seen some crowns using just two colors that I really liked, and now I can't decide which I like best!

ReplyDeleteYour bright blues worked out really well. Have you decided on a setting for these blocks? I don't remember if Mari and Angela had planned to provide one or not.
