Not sure why it took me so long, but I finally finished up the Gail Pan Spring embroidery piece this week!
Winter, Spring...
and I will move on to the Summer design, as soon as I find the background fabric that I had reserved for this project to trace the new design! 😜 Meanwhile I decided to prep a small quilt for hand quilting. I sewed this up back in April. It's made from a charm pack of Tilda and a Spool quilt pattern from Primrose Cottage.
About 15 inches square.
And meanwhile, I've continued to work on the Summer SAL from PinkernPunkin. I stitched Stamp 4 this week - Sunflower Strut.
Moving on to stamp #5!

OOH! Your stitcheries are so sweet, Diann! The mini quilt is so cute, pretty fabric. My fingers are itching to do embroidery, but I want to finish two UFOs, first of all.
Your stamps are really looking good! You always have so much going on, small projects make for quick finishes.
You accomplish so much Diann! I love the Winter and Spring pieces and that Summer cross stitch is adorable!! Have a great Sunday!
I love the blue for winter and Green for Spring colors you chose for these embroideries!! So pretty... I want to take out my butterfly piece and prep it for some deck embroidery--if my hands allow--it's been on the back burner for quite a while now...and it's pretty big...sigh...[ fingers crossed--oops nope not any more--uncross those fingers!! hahaha]
hugs, Julierose
I’m glad I’m not the only one who misplaces fabric for a project…
Spring is lovely! This is the perfect time to transition to summer projects. Nice little hand quilting project! Did you intend for the heart block to be sideways? Take care!
cute and the stitches look so little - I never did counted stitch but I did the embroidery where the pattern was printed on the fabric.
The spring embroidery is beautiful! I love the green you used. Hah on hiding the linen from yourself - I am SO familiar with that - lol! Melisa's stamps look very pretty.
I really hope to get started on my TV tray placemats today - wish me luck!
Oh! So much stitching goodness! Enjoy keeping your hands busy!
Will your winter and spring stitchings become little quilts or will you combine all four seasons into one quilt? Hope you quickly find the same fabric that is hiding from you!
What great finishes with your season embroidery. Spring turned out great!
Your stitcheries look great and the Summer cross stitch is lovely. I might have purchased all the floss for that last week =). Hope you find the missing fabric.... I do that all the time!
Cute embroidery piece--hope you find the background fabric for the next one--and I love your Tilda quilt--cute--
I just love Tilda fabrics and do have a hexagon flower paper piecing project in the works--and today I ordered 20 pack of 1/8 fat pieces ( 10x19") of her newest line in the blues with dark pinks--my only 'whine' is the price of her lines--now up to $17 a yard or more--but I had been waiting for a month for this line to be available--silly me--hugs, di
I love the diversity of your projects -- quilt, cross stitch, and embroidery. All super sweet!
Spring by Gail pan is lovely. Such delicate colours. You’ve finished just in time to start summer!
You have been busy, Diann. I just love your Gail Pan stitch - the critters are the cutest! Oooh your Spool quilt is precious. I saved the Primrose Cottage pattern ; I do need to start it. It is so exciting to see your progress on the Summer SAL! Your stamps are adorable:) Thank you for stitching along with me .Have a great evening. Hugs.
Melisa shares so many wonderful designs.
