To-Do Tuesday #18

Last week's To-Do list was the holiday kind - relax and just enjoy - and I did!

I enjoyed good family times and yummy food.  I read a lot - finished 3 books!  And I hand-quilted my Winter Four Patches.

It's ready for binding today!

But it's New Year's Eve, and I'm ready to actually make some plans for 2020!

1.  I'm working on an inventory of my Works in Progress.  It's very informal right now, but I want to have a post written about it by the end of the week.

2.  I need to take down all of my Christmas decorations and get everything put back where it belongs.    I traditionally do this on New Year's Day, so that's my plan for tomorrow!

3.  I have some snowmen to decorate with for January, and one of them is an unfinished quilty project.  It's time to finish this one up!

I know *somebody* out there will recognize this pattern!  😊

Sharing my To-Do list with at the To-Do Tuesday link-up at Home Sewn by Us!  Happy New Year, friends!

good luck on your lists! I have an informal list made also and I bought a skinny folder to keep it in and hope to do a good record keeping of projects this year to help keep me on track - I am ready to start a clean up of the house too and get everything put away

Looks like a Vicki original design to me! That will be a super cute quilt. Good luck with making progress toward your finishes. Happy New Year to you and your family :)

Hi Diann! Love your list for this week. Finish three books - yay for reading. I just LOVE the fabrics for Winter Four Patches. It sure looks like that binding will be done in a minute, and we'll enjoy the finished piece next week for sure. LISTS! We both LOVE making lists. I think just knowing what you've got in progress helps to get it d-o-n-e. And finally, I do recognize those snowmen pieces. It is definitely time for it to be finished as January is snowman time in my book. Thanks for linking up! And Happy Happy New Year! ~smile~ Roseanne

I too am working on my post of projects that really, really, really need to get finished this year. The more unfinished projects I listed, the more that seemed to appear from the past. Let's get them done!!!

Your relaxing time sounds like fun! I'm always a little sad but still hopeful when New Year's day finally comes.
I just finished my inventory of projects. I'm going to try to get a short post out today then get busy on a little unfinished Christmas project - lol!

I love the hand stitching you did on your four patch blocks, Diann. Isn't it a relaxing way to sew. And what a pretty finished piece it made. I'm reading about many making an inventory of projects...New year, new beginnings and for many of us time to finish as well. Good luck and enjoy every minute!

I love having snowy things out in January! That snowman project looks too cute! I love your hand- quilting. I have a big-stitch quilt with wool appliqué that I'd love to get done in 2020...
